Shock Wave Therapy?

Shock waves are high-energy sound waves when directed to an affected area triggers the bodies repair mechanism and helps the body to heal. Shock wave technology therefore provides non-invasive long-term improvement.

Treatment is usually carried out on an out-patient basis with the animal in the standing position and mildly sedated. The treatment typically lasts 10 to 20 minutes depending on the condition and is often repeated two to three times spaced at two to three week intervals.
